STANFORD MARINE GROUP (SMG) serves the Oil and Gas industry and focuses on chartering, building and repairing of Offshore Support Vessels (OSVs) through two main companies, Stanford Marine and Grandweld.
VESSEL CHARTERING
Stanford Marine, established in 1997, owns, manages and operates a large fleet of Offshore Supply Vessels that service the Oil and Gas industry in the Middle East, South East Asia, and Africa. The company is headquartered in Dubai, and operates out of additional offices and support centers in Singapore, Doha, Abu Dhabi, Mtwara (Tanzania) and Khafji (KSA).
With a focus on excellence in commercial, technical and HSE operations Stanford Marine offers three types of services to its clients, many of which have been customers for over twenty years.
- Vessel Chartering
Stanford owns and charters out a large and growing fleet of high-spec Offshore Supply Vessels, comprising Supply Boats (PSV and FSV), Fast Crew Boats and Anchor Handlers (AHTS and AHT). - Cross-Chartering
The company acts as a commercial manager for third party owners of Offshore Support Vessels different from the Stanford Fleet types or in different geographical areas. - Vessel management
Stanford offers full technical management services for owners of Offshore Supply Vessels.
SHIPBUILDING AND REPAIR
Grandweld Shipyards is the largest shipbuilder in Dubai, specializing in the construction of both steel and aluminum Offshore Service Vessels (OSVs) in facilities in Dubai Maritime City and Al Jadaf. The company has advanced design, engineering, construction and commissioning capabilities, and builds and repairs a wide range of vessels, including ASD tugs, Hybrid vessels, Dive Maintenance Support vessels, Multi Purpose Supply vessels, Fast Intervention Supply vessels (FISV), Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels, Crew Boats, Pilot Boats and Security/Patrol Boats.
Its sister company Gmmostech provides expert ship repair and conversion services for tankers, gas carriers and dry cargo vessels to the global shipping community.
